Trenderway Farm
Although built in the 16th century, Trenderway Farm is over 900 years
old and is mentioned in the Domesday Book. Trenderway Farm had been in
the same family for many generations until Jacquie and Yaron took it
over in March 2008. This part of Cornwall has always provided rich
farmland, and is still unspoilt and rural, sheltered from noisy main
roads and resorts.
Trenderway Farm (continued)
Originally a small manor, Trenderway extends to its current 200 acres,
and is a working mixed farm with a fine herd of Pedigree South Devon
Cattle. The farm is brimming with character and history: from the
cluster of classic Cornish granite farm buildings, to the farmhouse
itself, with its delicate white traditional 'Polperro Ripple' plaster
work, you'll be left in no doubt that you are in a special little
pocket of farming England.
You are guaranteed a warm welcome at Trenderway - Our staff are always
eager to help and enjoy nothing more than sharing some of the magic of
Trenderway with our guests. Yaron(when he is not discussing coffee or
cows) looks after the farm with old John and young Adam. Jacquie (when she is not
looking after the pets and the hens), creates the mouth-watering
Trenderway Breakfasts from our huge farmhouse Aga, served by our
fountain of local knowledge, Sue. Returning to your rooms following
breakfast, you will find that Julie and SueC, our barn fairies, have worked their
magic.
